Hmmmm, its an hour past the time realms were due up, I just got home from my last nightshift, and am frothing at the bit to play....
And of course I cannot log in- no character list comes up for Velen, or other servers I have tried. And the WoW website is not there for me wither- the infamous " unable to connect " screen shows up.
PLEASE tell me I am not the only one having withdrawal???????

I suffer from this same dilemma. I get stuck at the character loading screen for all realms I have toons on. I have deleted the WDB and WTF folders and lo and behold... still nothing but a "Retrieving Character list" message, for all except one test toon I just created.
The WoW forums does nothing but load the front page, if I click on customer support or go to tech support I get bounced off with a reset message and can't get back in.
I am a sad panda, I wanted to get my hair done

people, people, people,
Just a suggestion....try logging into one of the other realms....generally speaking, on major patch days, the servers are loaded with folks and have major issues. However, I have found in the past that some of the original servers, like hellscream, seem to come up first and work. The newer servers take longer..or are lower in the food chain. I would simply try an older server to see if u can log in, create a charatcer, etc....I know that velen is having difficulties still. I had a call from work today wth someone that could get on uther...but not velen yet.
Welcome to patch day...and just wait until Nov 13th....BLEH

Hmmmm, nice thought. I tried logging in all 3 realms I have toons on, let me try a few others and see.....
watch this space.
OK, was able to log onto two of 10 realms tried- Uther and Exodar, both would let me create a character. The three I have toons on, including most importantly Velen, are being obstinate.
Amazingly, on BC launch day I loaded the discs, updated, and logged on sweet as could be. Must have been lucky.
Will keep trying. If at first you don't succed.....

I have a hobby for a while I think- log on, be a nuisance for Blizzard, and log off, then try agin.
ALL THIS LOVELY DAY OFF GOING TO WASTE!!

OK, last try, discovered half the realms on the realm list were grey this time- offline.
Methinks Blizz has a medium to large bug in the works......

Logged on Shadowsong- have a level 18 there for some stupid reason.
OK, going to pass the time watching all episodes of THE GUILD, which Glenn kindly pointed out to me yesterday were right here on the forums. Time will not be wasted.

God...I love patch day...lol
I did create a new toon on uther briefly...new additions look great...we can set up events through the game now...so that will be nice.
New achievements look cool as well....sw harbor is bad ass and the new haircuts look wild
